Biography

A British portrait photographer intrigued by the multifaceted nature of humans and the lives we lead. Key projects explore the intimacies of themes, such as land, creatives and family relations. I am commissioned to find the approachable side of a client. This is what I strive for, after 22 years, the unpredictability never ceases. 

I hope to show nuance in people through my work. As our lives forever quicken, I aim to slow the pace and tell a story.

Besides my work being regularly featured in UK media publications, I have received awards including the 2017 Portrait of Britain and have had works exhibited at the Houses of Parliament.

Today, people do not look at each other anymore.  On trains, in restaurants, on street,  but are absorbed by their phones.

Current Project:

During my series "The People of the Pandemic" I am including "Donning & Doffing of PPE".  The sheer protocol of their daily lives and how they protect themselves, has been up until COVID-19, an unknown factor to me.  So much to learn and so much to tell.. I wanted to understand more than the layperson about their daily routines during this lockdown.
